GST Thermal Module Solutions for Drones

Infrared radiation is focused by infrared optical lens and converted into electrical signal by the infrared detector. After being processed by the signal processing circuit and image algorithm, the data is output and turns into visible thermal image on the display. With such thermal imaging system, along with control assembly, power supply, housing and end-application software, a UAV thermal imaging payload is formed.
 
Infrared thermal module is composed of infrared optical lens, infrared detector, signal processing circuit and image algorithm. 1. Uncooled Thermal Module (384×288)
384×288 is a classic resolution in current UAV payloads  industry. According to different UAV load capacities and mission requirements, Global Sensor Technology (GST) offers COIN417, TWIN412, PLUG417 thermal modules and radiometric cores based on self-developed infrared detectors, which are convenient for the fast integration and development of UAV OEM customers.

2. Uncooled Thermal Module (640×512)
640×512 is a mainstream resolution in current UAV payloads industry. According to different UAV load capacities and mission requirements, Global Sensor Technology (GST) offers iTL612, COIN612, TWIN612, PLUG617 thermal modules and radiometric cores based on self-developed infrared detectors, enabling OEM customers start fast development.

3. HD 1280×1024Thermal Module
With large array 1280×1024/12µm infrared detector, full series of optical components and powerful image processing algorithm, the PLUG1212 thermal module provides superior performance, clear images, edge sharpening and enhanced details at any harsh environments. It is widely used in thermal security and surveillance systems, as well as in industrial imaging systems.

4. GAS Series Thermal Modules (For Optical Gas Imaging)
With high performance signal processing circuit and advanced image processing algorithm, GAS330 series for gas leak detection is developed on the basis of GST HgCdTe mid-wave cooled infrared detector. By using thermal imaging technology, GAS330 series visualize VOCs gas (volatile organic compounds) that can't be seen by naked eyes. It is effective to detect VOCs leakage in the production and transportation process of petrochemical enterprises, and has great application value in safety production, environmental protection supervision, cost saving.
