GSTiR Joined the "4th Infrared Technology and Its Application Conference"

On June 10-12, 2023, the "4th Infrared Technology and Its Application Conference" organized by the joint member of Infrared Technology and Application Committee of Chinese Society for Optical Engineering was held in Jianguo Hotel, Xi'an City, Shan’xi Province, China. Many experts and scholars from scientific research institutes and enterprise manufacturers in the industry gathered together to talk about the cutting-edge infrared technology and look forward to the future of sensing applications.

Experts in various fields are invited to discuss and exchange related technologies, promote upstream and downstream exchanges and cooperation in the industry, and build a collaborative and innovative technology exchange platform.

Wuhan Global Sensor Technology (GSTiR) was invited to participate in this conference again. Zhou Wenhong, the deputy general manager, and Wang Tiantai, the product manager, delivered speeches in academic exchanges, engineering applications and other related special subjects, discussing in detail the development status and trend of infrared thermal imaging core devices.

“Development of Infrared Antimonide Superlattice Long Wave Detectors”

Looking at the frontier, aiming at the future of materials and device technology

Long-wave infrared has great potential in high-end thermal imaging applications due to its high frame rate, low temperature response and adaptability. GSTiR has mastered the key chip technology of infrared antimonide superlattice long-wave detectors, has a completely independent and controllable automatic production line, and realized the mass production of 320×256, 640×512 and 1K large array long-wave detectors. In the future, GSTiR will aim at development directions such as long-wave, high-temperature, dual-color, and maintain the industrialization and manufacturability advantages of antimonide detectors.

“Solution for Long Life Cooled Infrared Detectors”

Persist in promoting the application of environmental monitoring and gas detection

In traditional security monitoring and gas detection applications, the maintenance cost of cooled infrared detectors remains high. GSTiR has achieved remarkable results in breaking through the bottleneck in the lifespan of cooled infrared detectors: after improvement, the MTTF of traditional integrated infrared detectors exceed 13500 hours; the MTTF of linear cryo cooler extends to 25000 hours; by combining HOT devices with linear stirling cryocooler technology, its MTTF will surpass 30000 hour. The reliability of cooled infrared detectors is improved in all aspects to ensure 24 × 7 long running of the monitoring system.
