After a three-year break on Sunday, the 2023 Wuhan Marathon started at 7:30 a.m. on April 16 in front of Wuhan Science and Technology Museum. A total of 26,000 runners took part in this year's event. The participants come from 32 countries and regions, and 58.4 percent of them are outside Wuhan City, according to the organizing committee. It was divided into three groups, specifically, the full marathon of 42.195 km for 8,000 runners, the half marathon of 21.0975 km for 10,000 runners, and the 13-km run for 8,000 participants.

The team from Wuhan Global Sensor Technology (GSTiR) immediately rushed to the marathon field with infrared thermal cameras to capture this exciting moment! Let's take a look at the heat changes of athletes during the match.
