The composition of infrared thermal camera

Infrared thermal imaging is a detection technology which identifies the temperature distribution of the object. It converts light signals into electrical signals through the infrared detector, and then converts them into a thermal image after processing for people to observe.

Infrared thermal imaging camera is a device that can measure temperature and display heat distribution. Its shape structure is similar to a digital camera. It is mainly composed of an optical system, an infrared detector, a signal processor, an image processor, keypads, a power supply, a display, and an overall housing.

Its working principle is that the optical system focuses the infrared radiation emitted by the object to the infrared detector, the infrared detector converts the light signals into electrical signals, and input to the signal processor after adjusting and amplifying, and finally converts into a thermal image on the display by image processor. Infrared thermal image is the temperature distribution of the measured object which cannot be directly observed by the human eye.

The lens of the infrared thermal imager is different from ordinary lens. Compared with the visible light material, infrared lens has less material, and the material needs to have a higher infrared transmittance, high chemical stability and strong thermal stability, such as silicon, germanium. The function of the infrared lens is to collect and converge the infrared radiation energy from the target.

Infrared thermal imager has the advantages of strong real-time, accurate temperature measurement, no interference, easy to operate and so on.

Therefore, it is widely used in live temperature measurement, industrial monitoring, building monitoring and other fields, such as in the livestock industry. Infrared thermal imager can ensure non-contact real-time monitoring of poultry health status and improve the survival rate of breeding.

In the construction industry, the infrared thermal imager can non-destructively detect the structure and heat of the wall, etc., to help people find security risks in time and improve public safety.
