Infrared Thermal Camera Core - Analog Video Interface

There are many interfaces for thermal imaging module to transmit data. At present, the mainstream analog video interface is AV interface, including RCA interface and BNC interface.

The RCA interface was first invented by the Radio Corporation of America. It is one of the most commonly used analog video signal interfaces on the market. We used this interface often on TVs or VCDs before. Also, infrared thermal modules use this interface to transmit analog video. When used as a component socket, it generally consists of three independent RCA plugs (also called lotus heads).

The RCA interface has good versatility, separates audio and video, and is easy to match with display devices. The white L interface is connected to the left channel audio information, the red R interface is connected to the right channel audio signal, and the yellow V interface is connected to the mixed video signal. In the selection of infrared detector application manufacturers, it is suitable for transmitting black-and-white images of infrared imaging, but it is not suitable for scenes that require high imaging quality.

The BNC interface (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) is just a form of interface, not all BNC interfaces transmit composite analog video signals. The BNC interface is often referred to as the thin coaxial cable interface. The BNC interface can isolate the video input signal, reduce the mutual interference between the signals, and the signal bandwidth is larger, which can achieve better signal response effect.
